BEHIND THE FASHION & HAIR
On a Personal Note:Born in Palm Beach County, as a child growing up I have always wanted to grace the covers of the fashion magazines, and rock the runways of some of the top designers. Thus, sustaining a strong passion for beauty and style. I always knew that I would work in the feild of Fashion and Beauty in some capacity. After high school, I attended "The Beauty Institute" and graduated in 2003. I than began working as a Cosmetologist. educating my self with the latest techniques in hair cutting/ coloring and styling. Following my dreams of becoming a Fashion Designer, I moved to NYC to began my journey as fashion student. While in New York I explored my creativity, and was delighted to have experience the rush and hard work behind the scenes of photo shoots/ fashion shows/ and television. Soon after graduating The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, "Winning Best Portfolio" in 2008. I ventured out on my own to free lance as a Fashion Designerand build my book. My parents are my Gold next to God. Originally from Haiti they came to America to live and have a better life for themselves. They have inspried me to be part of something so beautiful and I'm extremley passionate about making women feel and look their best! I enjoy making my imagination run wild, there're no limits to what in spires me. For my collections consist of creative outlet, sophisticated palette, strong foundations, soft feminine silhouesstes, and beautiful textures and colors. I take great pride in my work and understand that being truly an exceptional Fashion Designer/ Hair stylist and Makeup Artistrequires more than an artistic talent and technique. It requires vision, patience, listening skills, professionalism and the love of people and art. I will continue to design for that fashion forward confident woman, who wants to exude sex appeal yet maintaining true elegance.CREATIVITY"Most of my Inspiration comes from cultural lifestyles, national-cultural origins, Religious, Linguistic and Geographical Infrastructures, just to list a few. The use of strong ethnic prints and colors enable me to create beautiful textures and ensures fabric manipulations through out my collections. My style is very complex yet sleek and sophisticated; stylish and dressed with the hottest trends and fashions straight from the runway. My ideal customer is usually one who is confident that has a refined knowledge of the way the world is cultivated, and intellectually appealing to the eye."-Glavidia
